Gyms, trainers and supplement brands have always grown by word of mouth: a member brings a friend, a trainer recommends a protein, a coach sells a programme to the people they already train. MLM software for the sports and fitness industry turns that word of mouth into a network with rules: the trainer or member who brings a customer is paid on the sale, and on the sales of the people they bring in, by a compensation plan the software calculates every period. Daani's MLM software is the system behind that for more than 100 network marketing companies in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and other countries, and the fitness configuration is one of its industry setups. This page covers what sells in a fitness network, what the software does with it, the plans these companies run and what it costs.
Four kinds of product go through a fitness network, and each needs something different from the software.
Supplement-led networks run a binary or unilevel plan with autoship volume as the qualification, the same way other consumable networks do. Membership and coaching networks lean towards a unilevel with a small number of levels, because the margin on a membership is thinner than on a supplement, and a stair-step rank structure for trainers who build teams of trainers. Equipment and apparel sellers pay a retail commission on each sale and a team bonus on top. The MLM calculator shows what each plan pays out of your margin per product group before the plan is switched on.
Three kinds of company use this configuration: supplement and nutrition brands that sell through trainers and athletes; gym and studio chains that pay members for referrals and trainers for the products they sell; and online coaches who sell programmes and want their clients to bring clients. A brand that already has a store starts by connecting it and adding the plan; a gym starts with the loyalty programme and adds the network when enough members want to earn; a coach starts with the replicated pages and the digital programme delivery. All three run the same software, hosted on the Daani server as MLM SaaS.
The ready-made 4G package with the basic features costs $50 to $150 USD per month; the 5G and 6G packages, with the shop, autoship, loyalty programme, app and the other modules a fitness network needs, go up to $800 per month; hosting on the Daani server, updates and support for as long as you are our client are included. Customised software is a one-time payment, 3,000 for the 5G package and 6,999 for the 6G, with discount offers of up to 70% from time to time. See the pricing page.
Can memberships and supplements run in the same plan? Yes. Each product group has its own volume and commission settings, and the plan pays on the combined volume or on each group separately, as you decide.
Can a trainer who works at a gym be paid by the gym and by the brand? Yes. A trainer is a member in each company's network; the two networks are separate installations and the trainer has a back office in each.
Do customers have to join to buy? No. Customers buy from a member's page without joining; the member is credited, and the customer can collect loyalty points and join later.
