The spillover binary MLM plan is a binary plan in which a sponsor who has already filled their two front-line positions keeps recruiting, and the extra members "spill over" into the next open positions further down the sponsor's leg. The word spillover means overflow: what does not fit on the first level runs down to the people below, which is why active leaders in a spillover binary build the teams of their downline as well as their own. It is often confused with the plain binary plan and with the forced matrix plan; this page explains how it differs, how it pays, what the software has to do to run it, and how to see it with your own rules in a free demo. Daani configures the spillover binary for companies in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and other countries on the same software that more than 100 companies run on.
Because it combines the simplicity of the binary structure with the overflow idea of the forced matrix, the plan attracts people who like either: a new member can receive spillover from an active sponsor before they have recruited anyone, which keeps early members motivated; leaders are rewarded for building deep rather than wide; and the two-leg structure stays easy to explain. For a company that wants a team to grow quickly in its first months, it is one of the most result-oriented plans. Its risk is the same as any binary's: a company that promises high pairing income with little product behind it pays out more than it earns, so the plan is tested with the MLM calculator before launch.
A spillover binary cannot be run on a spreadsheet, because the placement rule decides where each new member lands and the pairing rule decides what everyone earns. Our spillover binary MLM plan software is the Daani plan engine configured for it:
The plan is custom in the sense that every company sets its own pairing percentage, caps and placement rule; the software is the same, which is why a change is a setting and not a development.
The plan comparison covers the other plans, and the Australian binary page a close relative without pairing on the third leg.
Fill in the form for the free demo of our software and tell us your pairing percentage, caps and placement rule; our tech support team sets the demo up with them, runs a sample cycle with spillover and shows you the member and admin side online. Support is free for as long as you are our client, so questions about the plan are answered after the demo too. The ready-made 4G package with the basic features costs $50 to $150 USD per month, the 5G and 6G packages up to $800 per month with hosting on the Daani server included; customised software is a one-time payment, 3,000 for the 5G package and 6,999 for the 6G, with discount offers of up to 70% from time to time; see the pricing page.
Does a new member earn from spillover without recruiting? They can receive volume from spillover, but most plans require a personal recruit in each leg before pairing income is paid; that qualification is a setting.
Can the company choose where spillover goes? Yes: weaker leg, extreme left, extreme right or sponsor's choice, per plan.
Can a spillover binary be combined with other bonuses? Yes. Sponsor, matching and rank bonuses, and a repurchase or product plan, run next to the pairing in one back office.
How quickly can it be live? A ready-made package with a standard spillover binary is configured in days; a customised plan is scheduled with the quote.
